Baby-Friendly USA, Inc. (BFUSA) envisions an American culture that values the enduring benefits of breastfeeding and human milk for mothers, babies, and society.

BFUSA grants the WHO/UNICEF Baby-Friendly® Hospital Initiative award in the United States.

By protecting, promoting, and supporting optimal infant nutrition and mother/baby bonding experiences, BFUSA assists hospitals, birth centers and other community health organizations in achieving the Baby-Friendly® designation.

BFUSA collaborates with other organizations and institutions to make breastfeeding an American cultural norm.
