Achieving Baby-Friendly designation is no easy task. Transforming the policies, culture and workflow of a large institution requires vision, dedication and persistence among many people at all levels of the organization.

But as the saying goes, “Nothing worth having comes easy.” Baby-Friendly designation is hard for a reason – to ensure that mothers and babies all over the country receive the highest standards of infant feeding care in the precious first days of the child’s life.

The hospitals and birthing centers that have put in the hard work to achieve this prestigious recognition have every reason to be proud of their accomplishments. We are proud of them as well and applaud them for celebrating their achievement. A few examples of this pride are shown on this page.
