Baby-Friendly on the Local News

We at BFUSA are so impressed with the facilities that have remained steadfast in their commitment to the Baby-Friendly designation pathway during the challenges that have come with the pandemic. These facilities have been remarkably flexible as we have shifted our process from in-person to virtual assessments. As a result, since last August, more than 20 facilities have been designated Baby-Friendly through our new virtual assessment process.

One of these facilities, White Plains Hospital in White Plains, New York, was recently recognized for their success in a wonderful segment on the local New York NBC News station. We wanted to share it with others in the Baby-Friendly network to celebrate this positive coverage and reinforce that we all have an important and appealing story to tell.
